Cruise Control Stalk Vibration

2005 Aero about 900 miles on it.

Sport package (17" tires) and Cold weather.

I noticed that the Cruise Control stalk vibrates and makes a buzzing sound as we are driving.  If I hold it with one hand, it is ok.  Anyone else notice this?

Re: Cruise Control Stalk Vibration

I heard about this.  Bring it back to the dealer and they should replace the stalk.

Re: Cruise Control Stalk Vibration

Do you guys honestly think that replacing the stock will cure the problem, or will it just reoccur?

My 2 cents..

I work for a dealer and can get mine replaced while Im at work, no problem...But I am going to wait for a while to see if replacing the "old" part with the same "new" part will fix it....I think there will be a supersession coming soon with some sort of change to the part, then Ill get it changed.

Cheers,

Scott

Scott:

You work at  a Saab dealer?!!! Which one?

What supersession are you referring to? Is it like a "revision change" of parts?

There isnt a supersession yet, but I am willing to bet they make one in the near future once they find out they are having issues with them.....
Ya, its when they change the way the part is made in some form to make it "better".

Cheers,
