I made it out to Raceway Park a week or so ago for the first time with the Saabaru. I went out there with a bunch of friends from NYSRTCrew. A few others came as well with an 04 Cobra, an LS2 Vette and an 06 GTO.

This Friday night test and tune was packed since i guess it was the first relatively warm evening this season. We only got 3 runs in. I feel like this was a good thing though because i didn't break and was able to drice home.

The first and third pass i just rolled off the line slipping the clutch out from about 3k. The second pass i kind of tried to launch the car but pussied out at the last second so i just bogged really bad.
I know the car has 12's in it but i didn't want to beat on it too bad. This transmission makes me nervous. Plus getting stuck in Jersey sucks. I might go back again to just hit 12's and be done with it until i get a stronger tanny in the car, but we'll see. All in all i had a lot of fun. I look forward to more.
