I've only had my Saabaru for a few months now but was scoping the site out before I made my purchase. Couldn't be happier with my  92x  Its both my first Saab and my first Subaru.

The guys on here will definitely say some things that will make you go  sadbanana and won't hesitate to call you out if you make a mistake (which you've already seen first hand). Its all part of the learning process though and kinda like being hazed to join the club, its done out of  heart so don't ever take any of it too serious.

Be sure to check the fuse for your horn, could just be a blown fuse if its not a faulty connection.

I did check the fuse... But as everyone can see, maybe ill have someone else check too. smile I promise I know very little, but hey I try.

Thanks for the welcome!

How do we end up with normal, attractive females on this site  confused

Between Anne, et al, we're pretty damn blessed. Usually it's some skank attention whore who post pics with her slush box nearly hanging out. All the one's here are cool.

Re: Just getting started

Welcome.

If the residue left behind on the headlights is an adhesive try Xenit citrus cleaner from Stoner products. It's a bit more safe than standard solvents and works extremely well on things like adhesives, grease and all sorts of other things you might try a solvent for. It's my go to at work. If you can't find it local and order from them, they make a nice glass cleaner and spray shine products as well (if your into shiny stuff)

Basically anything with orange oil. Shit, cut an orange in half and rub it on your headlights.

Re: Just getting started

Tried it all to get the haze off the headlights. From googone to break cleaner.
It is quite the task to drive at night. Hi beams all the way!

The outside besides the headlights does look nice although it looks like it has been repainted.
The inside took awhile to clean up.... bits of glass inside, corroded change in the carpet, seats were a mess and a homemade short shifter.
