You could always make an offer on it, if that's the car you want. The good news for you is 4EAT Linear/2.5i's are the most common, especially in the upper midwest. Your hunt shouldn't be too difficult.

Funny. I just posted a link to the CL ad for the same car in your other thread.
Yeah, offer what you think it's worth. Seems high to me, too, but I sold mine (with twice the mileage) on CL in 2 days. I didn't want to be waiting forever. The worst thing they can do is say "no way, man".

I emailed them a pic of edmunds showing $7700 with everything speced correctly and asked them if they were willing to deal. Not worth even the small trip if that's what he thinks it's worth.
