Noob question-where is my fuel filter

About to get a dyno tune, want to replace fuel filter. Where is it? Not like same year WRX 2.0 models.

Thanks.

Re: Noob question-where is my fuel filter

I could be wrong but i think its the gas tank. I came across this a while back.

Here's another link. This one is for the outside the tank filter.

Hopefully this helps.

Re: Noob question-where is my fuel filter

Yes, it is in the tank and part of the fuel pump assembly.  I just changed mine a few weeks back while installing a Walbro fuel pump.  Very easy install which can be done in about 30 minutes.

Re: Noob question-where is my fuel filter

Okay, that's what I thought, in the tank. All the pre '06  2.0L WRX guys and I were looking for it by the engine and the filter I bought was for that location, fricking Advance Auto   banghead

Thanks  up
