Welcome to Saab92x.com!

Hi everyone,

This is an announcement to let you all know that saab92x.com/ will be added to the Autoguide.com Mobile App sometime next week. The app is available in a free version, and paid version that can be downloaded for both iPhone and Android devices.  When accessing the site from your mobile device you should be prompted to download the app. You can also search your mobile store for the app, just search "AutoGuide" or you can go straight to http://www.autoguide.com/mobile/ and download it from there. Once you have found and downloaded the app, you will be able to go through the list of sites and locate this site, and maybe find some sites you did not know were out there.

The AutoGuide app is designed to work exclusively with the AutoGuide.com network, so if you happen to frequent several of our forums, you can now access them all in one app.

Hope you guys like it!

Damn door cards!

Any tips on getting the infamous bezel off of the latch? I've watched videos on STi removal and read threads on WRX panel removal but this bezel seriously is going to snap and I really don't want that. Do we have an extra clip on lookers left of the bezel? I pry that side up and use the awl to release the bottom, but the part i'm prying (lookers left of the bezel) doesn't move.  mad facepalm sadbanana banghead

Re: Damn door cards!

Take this with a grain of salt, but I think they're pretty tough.  I just gripped & ripped on one that I was taking off of an '02 WRX door card that I was discarding, and I thought for sure it would snap.  Not even one broken tab.  Of course YMMV, but that's my experience.  Mine have been off a dozen times or so, and they're fine.

Re: Damn door cards!

Both mine broke.. my first broke the first time I took the door cards off while I switched mirrors. The one on the second door broke while I was removing them for speaker upgrade.. But both of them sits so good that you can't tell that the clips are broken. Maybe I had some luck and broke the one clip that did the least work at holding them to place.

Re: Damn door cards!

I use a plastic/bendable cake knife. Slip in behind and pry.

IMHO that's one of the toughest interior pieces to get off w/o breaking.

I shoved an awl behind it, grabbed it with my fingers then yanked. Seemed to do the trick. Wasn't the most graceful though.

1.99 hook tool kit from HF.

Use the L shaped one and gently pry up on the tab, pull off door.

I'm amazed you rip and pull barbarians didn't shatter the cheap plastic  biggrin
