New owner - Kingsport, TN.

Whats up guys, first post here.  I've lurked just over the last couple days and got some good info.  Went up to Baltimore Saturday to get this DSM '05 Aero 5MT .  I've only had Honda's before this and am in absolute love.  Have to get used to the gas mileage, but for the added safety/performance and even the general driving feel, I think it's worth it.

Anyways, pretty sure I'm the only 9-2 in the area, I know there's a couple at least in Knoxville, but that may be the closest.

Hope to stick around for a good while and learn some things!  Thanks to the admins for running a good informative site!

Welcome! I also came from the Honda family ( integra , legend ) but  92x really won me over. You're right about the mpgs but I guess I don't feel the impact as much because I don't have to drive it too much for my daily routine. Get some pics on here  embeer

Re: New owner - Kingsport, TN.

NICE!  I have a DSM Aero as well.  Those Legacy wheels actually look pretty decent on that car.  Congrats on a great car!  Good luck with it!

Re: New owner - Kingsport, TN.

Only issue the car has is right around 60mph, there's a metal scraping sound coming from the area under the seat/floorboard.  Whatever it is sounds like its spinning and is rubbing up against some other metal object.  Doesn't affect how the car drives st all, I just fear it may if ignored for long enough.  Made the 400+ mile trip home from MD without issue this past Saturday.

Looks like I may have just found the source of the noise - http://www.scoobymods.com/showthread.ph … p;p=18332.

Yeah pretty sure they're wrx wheels..I like them a lot more than the wheels these come with.
