New saabaru owner in Medford, MA

Hey everyone. I just picked up a 05 9-2x linear. Figured the first thing to do was join the forum and learn more about the car. Main purpose for it is a daily/winter car. The plan was to not modify a thing but I know thts not gonna happen lol. From what I've seen so far it's the same as the Impreza right? As far as performance goes. Any known problems with this car? Something specific I should be looking for. The car has 135k on it. Previous owner claims doin the timing belt and water pump at 101k but no paper work to prove it. As far as mods go, which year Impreza is compatible with the linear? I want an exhaust already just for sound. I know it's pointless tryin to squeeze any power out of the NA. Any input on something that sounds good but it's not too loud. Cops near me already "love me" bc of my street/drift z. Thanks in advance.

Heh, I just came back from the WoW in Medford. I wouldn't really mod your linear, unless it's suspension related. Keep the motor/exhaust stock.
