Changing passenger side low beam headlight bulb.

I believe I need to remove the air intake duct to change the bulb.  After removing the bolt holding the duct, does this pull right out, or is there another step?

That looks like the Aero duct.  I have the Linear which is different.  I tried earlier today, and felt I was forcing it and stopped.  First time changing this bulb, so do not want to break anything in doing so.

Yeah, since you didn't give me the information of what car you are driving. I was assuming that you have a Aero.

I have a Linear as well, but I am using an Aero air duct.

But in my for sale thread I got a pic of the Linear Air duct.

Maybe now you know why it gets stuck or you have a hard time taking it off.
If it breaks let me know, I sell it to you for $5 + shipping.  tongue

Re: Changing passenger side low beam headlight bulb.

Thanks for the pic of the duct.  I see that it breaks off before it goes into the body of the car.  I will give it a try tomorrow and let you know how I made out.  Thanks again.  Don't want to pay anyone for a headlight bulb replacement!

Re: Changing passenger side low beam headlight bulb.

I have an '05 92-x Linear and it seems I need to remove the power steering reservoir to change the passenger side low beam headlight bulb. Is this correct? If not please redirect me.

I'm pretty sure that the OM states something to the effect of, "changing this bulb is quite difficult, please take it to your nearest Saab dealer."
