Chevy Spark EV

I got one.
http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn21/simply_dave/20150502_145005%201_zpsfpbidiwn.jpg

Picked her up on Thursday.  She's got some pep and lots of torque.  100% electric.

Re: Chevy Spark EV

Now did the finance manager give you the tampons that go with it or does the salesperson do that?

Yes.  Tampons and pads.  Be nice if he did.  At least throw in some kind of bonus.

Download the plugshare app on your phone.  Gives you available charging points.  Here in California, there's a bunch in my area.

Yes.  Not yet.  I'm in the process of having a 240v home unit installed.  There's so many incentives for EV's atm.  The unit cost ~ $500-750 with $500 rebate.  Yes lease.  After all the number crunching it's basically a free car.

The interior is pretty bauce imo.  5 cup holders in the front area, cause that's all we really care about.  Oh and touch screen, free OnStar, bluetooth, heated seats, etc.

LOL that's a handful... literally. haha. Just read about the next iteration of that car in Car&Driver's 25 cars worth waiting for. Looks like it'd be a peppy little car with electric since it's so teeny. Hope it serves you well

But I don't think it's quite the same as in Michigan on family/employee pricing.  The deals here are crazy.

Actually, if you join IMBA, you can get a pretty good discount on Subies - or you at least yustacould.

I don't know that the incentives are for your area.  But here in California, the state mails you a check for $2500 on lease deals.  Up to $7500 if you purchase.  HOV carpool lane stickers came with my car.  Usually they don't, and you have to apply for them.  A certain number annually are given out to EVs.  Like I posted above home charging units from Bosch cost anywhere from $500-1000 before the rebate of $500.  So, some units (the cheaper ones) are free after the rebate.  What I pay monthly for the car is less than what I would've paid for in gas on my Civic Si.

Needless to say, once the dust settles I'll be selling my Civic EP3.
