From the original thread:  What are we all up to tonight?  The weather is fantastic.  Maybe Fiona's Pub in Kingstowne, around 5:30-6?  They have outdoor seating, and there's a big enough parking lot that we can probably get a few 92x together for some pics, and there's a drive through car wash right across the street if you want to get a quick rinse. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Fiona … 869d64f852

Re: NoVA SAABaru Meet

Sorry guys I was in NYC this past weekend. I'd be down for a meetup for sure. I need to get my car ready for a DE event at Summit Point. (Potomac's PorscheFest DE PCA - Potomac,  The Founders' Region - DE Friday, Aug 7 — Sunday, Aug 9, 2015)

Does anyone know a certified inspector that can hook me up?

New track pads (carbotech XP10 front XP8 rear) are on the car w/ new rotors. She stops like a beast now! Looking forward to hitting the track this weekend!  roxor

Also shout out to the dude w/ the Black Aero that I saw this morning coming out of the neighborhood in Arlington onto RT 402 heading toward King St., I gave ya few honks when you were making that left but I don't think you noticed me till you looked in your rear view and threw up the deuces! Saabaru love!

Re: NoVA SAABaru Meet

I just got a smokin' deal on a 92x Linear today so I'd be down to come out one day... after this thing is detailed. Thoroughly.

The Dulles Landing Cars & Coffee just started in July but it's already getting popular. We like to go every so often so let me know if you go to that one.

Re: NoVA SAABaru Meet

Have we let this thing simmer enough?  Where are people located and what's convenient?  I'm right near 395/495/Springfield Mall and can meet just about anywhere in Arlington/Alexandria/Fairfax.  What do people prefer, weekdays? weekends?  Let's get some data and use it to inform a decision!

Re: NoVA SAABaru Meet

I work in Arlington and live in Clifton. Can meet anywhere from the beltway (Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax) or out around Centreville, Herndon, Reston area.

Going to Summit Point for my last track session of the year in the Saabaru on Monday (12th). I feel  banana and  sadbanana at the same time.

Re: NoVA SAABaru Meet

I'm closer to the Dulles South area.

My husband and I have conflicting weekday schedules so weekends would be best for us. We haven't gotten the Saabaru winter ready yet but are starting to. Such is the life of vehicle #7! banana

P.S. BlkSaabaru4Me, how was your track day?

Track day was absolutely amazing. Perfect weather, clear and sunny, warm enough to get heat in the tires but not too hot for the turbo. I had some amazing sessions and shaved a lot of time off my laps but still have a lot to learn. My best lap of the day was a 1:35 flat, but I consistently put up 1:36 times. There was some amazing cars out there that day, I'm sure you saw the pics, but it wasn't a crowded event (40 car limit). Our group was fairly small about 10 cars and by the end of the day I was only seeing maybe 1 or 2 other cars on track during my sessions.

Nothing broke and I never went off track so I'd say the day was a complete success!  banana
