New to the thread but need help modding

Hey all. New to the Saab thread as I just purchased a 2005 9-2x Aero. I owned a stage 2 Subaru Wrx a couple years ago but unfortunately that was bought, not built. So my goal this time around is to do everything myself and learn as much as possible. Car is completely stock except for Mishimoto radiator and bigger intercooler. Sensors and plugs have been replaced, need to do timing belt soon.

My first question  is what's next? Should I buy the Accessport now? Or should I do a couple mods and then buy it?

My other question is when searching for parts should I search for 2005 Saab 9-2aero parts or 2005 Subaru Wrx parts?

Any help right now would be greatly appreciated

Welcome aboard!  Search is your friend here, this board has been around since 2005;  there are many existing threads on those topics.  Upper left corner, google custom search...have at it and good luck!

The car is from 2005. This has been covered many times over, both here and NASIOC. I suggest you search first before asking questions, and then ask questions to fill in any gaps on things that remain unclear to you.

Yesssss, search. Stage 2 is pretty basic stuff in terms of how to get there.

Downpipe + tune (whether that's w/ an Accessport or open source is your preference)
Not required but recommended:
Catless up-pipe so your catalytic converter doesn't blow shards into your turbo
Catback if you want more rumble

I recommend browsing the technical forums on Nasioc and checking out the stickied FAQ threads. They're very helpful for learning the basics.
