Interior rear panel removal.

Hi guys, I am trying to get access from inside to my rear fender above the driver side tire, some kid shot a pellet at my car and I am trying to see if i have room to push it out from inside before i repair it.
There are some 8-10mm bolts with square loops at the bottom and curious if i need to take off the plastic on the pillar ro remove the capret over the rear strut.

Re: Interior rear panel removal.

Rear seat belt points need to be undone first, then upper rear trim (plastic around the wagon side windows) comes out before the carpeted strut tower piece. While you're in there check to see how badly rotted your rear strut towers are, they will range from Swiss cheese to just rusty.

confused

It's not possible to pull out the carpeting and foam insulation to inspect the strut towers without pulling the back seat cushion and seatback... You must not be knowing about where the rust forms...

No it's not impossible I just did it. I only needed to gain access to the area above the wheel well inside the fender wall lol
