NC: 2006 Linear, manual trans. Needs motor. CHEAP.

I bought this thing a year ago to do a little jdm swaparoo, but other projects have bankrupted my plans.

Asking only $1150. (Exactly what I have in the car.)  driving

It's a manual, NC car with a few bruises, but overall in good shape.

I believe the ODO reads ~92k miles, and I'm certain the car has a clean title. Carfax shows two minor incidents, and both were silly minor. All panels have matching vins.

Color is Desert Sand. Car is in Wilmington, DaNC, and will need to be towed on a trailer.

For the right price, I'll deliver it to VA. If I still have it, it will still be up on the site.  I'll mark this sold if/when that happens.

Wait until you see the 1988 6er I'm selling! ! I bought the red one to replace a piece or 2 on the M6 I just posted for sale.

I actually recently purchased a 1984 Dinan Turbo M635csi, hand-built by Steve Dinan in 1988, then completely rebuilt by Dinan again in 1995. I think I have a picture...oh, yes..here we go...

http://i63.tinypic.com/2uzee0o.jpg
388hp, 400 ft lbs tq (from 2200-6900rpm). One of less than 20 Dinan M6es built with the Stage 2 turbo kit, and one of less than a dozen built by the Guru, himself. I purchased in April, and have been saving for a few "upgrades." (Aftermarket ECU, aftermarket boost control, and dual-row timing chain.) About $3k on a chevy. $12,500 on this baby, partially due to proprietary injection parts and a copper head gasket, spec'd by dinan. Only 1 place makes it, and I'm ordering 2 pcs to be safe! THIS black monster is the reason I'm selling all the other goodies I own. Lol.

I am a bmw nut and am completely  eek about that M6. Great, great pick up! I myself have been building a group 2 e21 with turbo m20b25 swap. I had it running and driving last summer and its a blast! Roughly 315hp at the moment. This winter is the body work and vinyl wrap in the jagermeister livery. I am currently installing a custom rear end I made, so I can put a stronger diff/axles back there to handle the power. That M6 must be amazing to drive tho.

I LOVE the e21. Have had many of them, including a sick 320/6 I blew up. The Jagermeister cars are some of my faves, as are the Schnitzers with the "Original BMW Teille" livery!

The Dinan e24 screams "BADASS" even at a stoplight. Everyone tries to race it. It gets annoying, actually,  as I'm not really 16 anymore.

The owner's manual suggests 3 gallons of 100 octane race gas per fill-up, for "spirited driving."

In 1985, the only car that pulled more lateral Gs than the Dinan M6 was a race-prepped, custom Vette. .92G is insane for the e24 chassis.

The gentleman who originally owned it had it imported to WA, and it spent 20+ yrs in CA. He must have won the lotto, because he dropped it off at Dinan in ~ '89 and spent over 35 thousand on the conversion! Dinan turbo system, pistons, crank, rods, dinan sways, springs, custom Dinan Bilsteins, dinan brakes, and 16", "Dinan" BBS rims to replace the metric crap. VDO boost and temp gauges. The whole 9.

http://i65.tinypic.com/332rxht.jpg
HKS intercooler,  spec'd by Dinan. A whole lotta plumbing involved, but really was amazingly done for the 1980s. Even has a piggyback ECU and boost cut/knock protection.

Has Stacks of records as thick as a NY phone book, dating to original owner. Hand written letters from Steve Dinan to the owner, detailing the different levels of performance, and even a letter from Dinan's wife thanking the owner, and confirming receipt of his (gulp) $12,500 deposit for the work! Even have photos of the original owner the day he got it home, and a hand-written letter from the German dealership where he ordered it, along with the German sales brochures, all stamped by the dealer in Germany. Insane amount of documentation!!!

Sonofabutch! I hijacked my own thread. Lmao.

If I get it set-up the way I want,  I may drive to Sharkfest this year. The Dinan exhaust is actually quiter than I expected, but still has an amazing tone under WOT. When boost hits in 3rd gear, it will bark the tires from an 80mph roll. Scares me every time. Lol.

I wanna see the Jager e21 when you finish!

Just purely AMAZING man!! I'd definitely love to hear that thing as well. Also, sorry for starting the whole thread jack thing here, lol. I just got really excited when I saw your posts. Once I get the e21 wrapped in orange I will send you pics. I will be doing the jager livery a little differently than the actual design. I will be making the jager logos a slightly lighter orange than the car to give it a subtle look and not so in your face. Since the car will be driven on the street too. Dont want it too distracting now. tongue Ok, end thread jack, lol.
