2005 92x for sale - 175k miles - NJ UPDATED -- CLEAN TITLE!

Update: I was at the dealer doing the airbag recall, and the rep printed out the Carfax to check if the suspension recall was ever done. I asked him to print it out, and turns out my title is CLEAN! What does that mean for this car? Absolutely nothing, it's exactly as good as it was before this information. Just thought it would be worth mentioning.

It has been well maintained, oil change every 3k using Rotella T6 and Subaru OEM filters.
The clutch only has 10k miles on it.

It has a few exterior and performance mods, including:
Fortune Auto 500 Series Coilovers
EBC Brake Pads and Rotors replaced less than 1000 miles ago.
Konig Wheels with Continental ExtremeContact DWS 225/45/17
Enkei Stock 92x Wheels mounted with Blizzak Runflats for the winter set

Tuned by Precision Tuning for 290whp
Blouch 16g XT turbo
TurboXS Stealthback Downpipe
TurboXS Magnaflow Exhaust
TurboXS Uppipe
TurboXS TMIC painted black
GrimmSpeed EBCS
K&N Short Ram Intake
Turbo Inlet - Forgot what brand, I think grimmspeed
DW Fuel Pump
DW Injectors

2005 JDM STI complete front end (hood, bumper, wide front fenders)
JDM STI HID's, which are different than US STI hids
JDM Big Fog Lights, shipped from a Subaru dealership in Japan

It's missing a hood scoop, it wasn't properly mounted and flew off the car.
As you may have noticed, there is a hole in the side. This is because of an accident where I was rear ended/side swiped by a state trooper, damaging the back left quarter panel, driver's side doors, and the driver's side front fender. All of that was replaced except for the quarter panel. I have factored this into the price.

Mechanically, it runs and drives perfectly. It has great compression in all cylinders. I bring it to Precision Tuning for most maintenance.  They have recently replaced the oil pan, valve cover gaskets, and they have installed my turbo.

No need to text me with ridiculous low balls, I know what my car is worth. I'm not completely sure if I want to sell it, and I am interested in trades for a newer WRX, an MR2, S2k, but not much else.

Probably gonna part it out to be honest, I just wanted to see what I could get as a whole first.

Salvage title, significant body damage, messed up paint on the front end, $170k for $4900? You're a long way from a reasonable price.

And what is up with that gauge pod, is it supposed to fit like that?

I meant well maintained mechanically. Clearly it has seen its fair share of body damage, but it drives perfectly. Also the gauge pod wasn't fully installed when I took that picture.

I'm just fielding offers, 4900 is just a starting point.

If this car sells for anything even close to $4900, I'll lose my mind.

Rebuilt title?  checkmark
Trashed exterior with giant HOLE to outside?  checkmark
"Custom hood scoop"?  checkmark
Missing the entire Saab front end?  checkmark
checkmark Engine Light?  checkmark

Actually not a custom hood scoop, that is what's under the STI hood scoop, the actual scoop flew off on the highway. Everything else you mentioned is spot on though. Check engine light from an old o2 sensor, not that serious.

Re: 2005 92x for sale - 175k miles - NJ UPDATED -- CLEAN TITLE!

Part it out. The car as a whole is worth far less than the pieces. Wheels/tires, aftermarket pieces, and 9-2x specific parts could net you $2500 on their own. You've got WRX parts from the nose (and the doors, technically), plus an unobtanium 9-2x hatch door.

While selling the car as a whole is easier, you're never going to see $4900. I'd guess $2500, max.

I got $3500 (actually a smokin' deal for the next owner) for my Stg2 Aero a couple of months ago, with none of the issues your car has with 25k fewer miles. Maybe I could have held out for $4-$5k for the right owner, but the ease of the sale made it worth my while.

Mods do not return 80% or more of their value when sales time comes, and the missing 9-2x pieces make this car mostly undesirable to anyone looking for a 9-2x. The LH rear quarter seals the deal. Those rusty 1/4 corners? I don't even want to know what your rear strut towers look like.

Also, the wheels you have on the car are Konig Rated-R's - I had them on a Civic in 1999.  lol

EDIT: as info, this is what a $5k 9-2x looks like:

First of all, thank you for telling me the name of the wheels, I genuinely have been searching online for a while trying to figure it out so I could get proper specs lol. It seems they were discontinued a while ago.

Yeah I realize I won't get 4900 for it, I just wanted to see if anybody wanted it as a whole before I part it out. It still has some solid parts, the aftermarket parts are in good shape and it looks like I'll get a solid amount from them and the Saab parts.

Other features include: undiagnosable ABS light, missing sideskirts (weight reduction), very loose shifter bushings, and rusted quarter panels. What a steal!

UPDATE: The bumper clips seem to have ripped off on one side so now it hangs uneven. Also I've installed the STI v limited lip. I've been getting too much attention so I've decided to raise the price to $5200
