Saab part out(Paint Code 48W)

I have some 92X items from my project laying around. Color code is 48W which is supposed to match Subaru Crystal Grey Metallic but, to me, it appears to have more of tan color to it, likely because of the difference in primer color. Anyway, on with the list and some pictures:

$50 Driver side mirror
$50 Passenger side mirror
$175 Passenger front door (w/ window, regulator, harness, exterior door handle)
$75 Driver front door (dented) (W/ window regulator, harness(no mirror switch harness), exterior door handle)
$75 Driver rear door (dent near window)(w/ window, regulator, harness, exterior handle)
$150 Driver side fender
$Make an offer$ Rad support (needs to be removed)
$125 Sideskirts ($125 each or $200 for both)

Prices are picked up, shipping and paypal fees are extra.

A few things to note, these are mainly subaru specific intricacies because, well the post came from my listing on NASIOC, If you have a Saab, most of these won't matter:

While the doors have the harness, the plug for the window switches are from an 02. The wires are fully intact with the pins still on them. I switched over the brown (04-07) plug into my 02 harnesses so the Saab switches would work without splicing wires. You will either need to rewire the plugs at the door side or the chassis side depending on what year/model you have these going into.

The mirrors between the 02-03 and the 04-07 have different plug connectors. These mirrors should work for 04-07.Otherwise, you will need the correct plug and to repin the connector, or splice wires.

Window regulators and windows are the same for all 02-07 chassis.

There is some dried sap which appears on some of the panels/glass. It comes off very easily with some 3M Adhesive remover.

Re: Saab part out(Paint Code 48W)

Forgive my ignorance as to the name of these parts....I need the black plastic casing around the fog lights, but would be willing to buy the whole kit if that is how they are priced. Are those the bezels?

I have been missing that black part around the passenger side fog light for years now.

Re: Saab part out(Paint Code 48W)

Thought i had e-mail notifications set up for this, appears as though I didn't haha. To answer your questions:

1. They are 16" wheels and currently not for sale, though they may be in the future.
2. The fog light bezels i was trying to sell with the fog lights as a kit (fogs, bezels and switch) and in which case, would be $150. Shipping and paypal fees on top
3. Driver Side Fender liner.... $20 sound fair? It's still on the car at the moment.

Re: Saab part out(Paint Code 48W)

As for parting interior stuff, for the most part, NO. Most if not all will be going into a WRX wagon shell.

Re: Saab part out(Paint Code 48W)

If I remember I'll try and snap a few pics of the remaining stuff off the car and the car with the stripped down front.

To elaborate a bit on the interior stuff. More than likely the only thing(s) that will be available will be some of the dash accessories.I will be using the door cards, seats, possibly carpet, center console minus the auto HVAC controls, possibly steering wheel. Off hand that's all i can think of. I was going to swap tailgates but I doubt I care enough to for the change of handle. Tail lights I'm keeping and possibly the rear bumper if the shell i have doesn't have one.

Again, this will be done over a couple months, so as things change I will update with what is/will be available.

Re: Saab part out(Paint Code 48W)

JUst letting everyone know this stuff is still available.

Soon the doors will be taken off the list unless someone decides they want them. Otherwise, they're going with the car to the scrap yard. Same goes for rad support and A/C condenser.

No, the hood and bumper were the first two things to go along with the fender.

The rad support is still on the car. It would need to be drilled at the welds to be removed, or quite honestly, to make it easy, I could just cut the frame outside of the actual rad support and you could do the drilling yourself after the fact.

Re: Saab part out(Paint Code 48W)

UPDATE:

Car has been basically stripped. Rad support is pending sale. Rear hatch, bumper and tails are sold.

If someone wants the shell, by all means, make an offer. 99% of the wiring is still there. Drivers side door harness has been cut both inside the chassis and out. There is no longer a heated seat harness. Some relays are missing blah blah blah. If anyone is interested, shoot me a message and I'll be happy to provide more details. Otherwise the shell is being scrapped.
