So, their are different levels of care that various providers will give when shipping. That said, I think most of us can agree that they usually won't give a fuck about your package while transporting it.
So, if for example, you are shipping something through Greyhound shipping services you should not expect a white glove level of treatment for your package.
This is how not to ship something through just about any carrier if you want to arrive at it's destination in the same condition it left in:

I'm interested, do you take paypal? How much do you want for it? Can you take it out of the packaging to show condition? Also, what is it?

It's fenders. They arrived nearly intact but with lots of dings and scrapes on them. Down to bear metal along several areas. The only really bad mark is along one of the crease lines. I'm hopeful that if I really needed them after a future accident that a body shop could make them serviceable. I'm truly amazed that the corners did not get destroyed seeing how this shit got loaded and offloaded of several buses along the way to me.
