New owner in Middle, TN

Well ok, maybe i'm not exactly a new owner since i've had my car for quite some time now. (I think 8 months.) But i've had enough of lurking and decided to post.

Anyways, more specifically I'm located in Middle, TN and have never seen another  92x on the road. I'm really excited to own such a beast of a machine. I often find myself looking back on it as i walk away. haha There are hardly any car meets that i know of that go on around me. There are occasionally honda meet ups and old muscle cars/rat rods, but that's not really appealing to me.

Specs: I own an arctic silver 92x aero 5mt. I haven't done anything to my car since i bought it, but let's see...I have an STi catback and linear wheels. yep, that about concludes my mod list. ha! Some items on the top of my mod wishlist are as followed: roof rails, new shift knob, wheels, fog lights, and a stage 1 tune.

I'm excited to be a part of this forum so let's 'rumble.'

Skip stage 1, stage 2 is where it's at! You'll also enjoy a short shifter more than a shiny new shift knob, unless you have one already. In which case ignore me. Welcome to the site!  embeer

Re: New owner in Middle, TN

great to see you on here.  so is middle, TN right in the middle?

also check out your rear end links.  if they are the stock ones they should be pretty mushy by now.

cheers

Well TN is separated into three sections East, Middle, and West. But yes, I am awfully close to the geographic center.

Re: New owner in Middle, TN

I'm not sure stage 2 is practical considering this is my DD. I would love to still do it though...

And yes, a short shifter is on my list! Thanks for reminding me  up

Many people DD stage 2, myself included. So much better than stage 1 or stock.

I would say the majority of Aero owners on here are @ stage 2. I've been at stage 2 for a little under a year and have gotten better mpgs than when I was stock, and I driving quite a bit more. It's pretty painless - STI/catless up-pipe, hi-flow catted downpipe and an accessport to flash to their stage 2 tune. Add a catback if you want more rumble, remove the intake silencer if you want more wsssssh. Done and done. My turboback is full 3" and I enjoy it A LOT.

Glad a SS is on the list.
