* Description: I bought this car about a year and a half ago with 186xxx miles on it, daily drove it to Charlottesville every day for a while, until I quit that job. I still drove it daily, but my current job is much closer. If I remember correctly it has something like 218xxx miles on it now, and still runs very well. The CEL will come on every now and then for an Emissions Leak code, and when you fill it up with gas, you can smell fuel in the cabin, causing me to believe the fuel pump sender seal at the tank is leaking fumes. I never bothered with it.
It's had Amsoil in it for it's entire life. The owner before me (who bought this new) is a friend of mine, and he is also an Amsoil dealer. The transmission has the blue Redline MT fluid (I don't remember exactly what it's called, but I have a spare bottle of it). The transmission was also rebuilt probably 50k miles ago with the MUCH stronger 2007 OEM internals. The transmission does leak a bit from the front axle seals, and the CV boots are leaking a little too. There is a very small oil leak somewhere from the engine, so it'll smoke for about 5 minutes after it warms up. It's due for timing belts and all that jazz, I never got around to doing it, and now I'm glad I didn't.
This vehicle is totaled. I was hit on the highway by a girl who hydroplaned. I spun out and kissed a guard rail with the other side of the bumper. The insurance company totaled the vehicle on sight because they said Saab isn't around anymore and they had no way to get parts (morons). I bought the vehicle back from them, and I had the body shop it was towed to, Connor Brothers, put it on the rack and check it out, they say the chassis is "Torqued," which I guess means it's twisted, and the quote they gave me to repair it was almost as much as I payed for this car. Since I had just put a down payment on my house, I couldn't afford to have it fixed. I'm slowly realizing that I'll probably never have the time or space to part this out, so I'm trying to sell it as a whole now.
The vehicle has Cobb lowering springs, 9mm "Saggy Butt Spacers", an SPT intake, Hella Supertones (With the super awesome AD Motorsports install kit), and some sort of short shifter kit (was installed when I bought it). That's it for mods though, the rest of it is factory fresh(ish). I also have a SUPER awesome Ebay exhaust I can toss in if you'd like it. It did sound pretty fantastic, but it looked awful and I got a ticket for it, so I had to take it off.
That's about all I can think of right now. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me or post here with any questions you may have. As far as trades go, I'm open to anything interesting. Feel free to make offers. Be aware that this thing will NEED to be towed away. I know a guy who will do it, but it's not free.
Thanks for your time.
* Price: $3500. The transmission alone is worth 1200, the 9-2x specific front end body parts (in as rough a condition as they are) are still worth 1000, and I've seen the hatches go for close to 1k as well.
* Pics: These are all the pictures I have for now, I'll try to get some interior/underhood shots if it's not dark when I get home tonight.

Part out?
If so, PM price on SPT intake? Trades?

Definitely considering trades. As far as parting out, I'm looking to sell outright right now. I'll let you know if I do get around to parting it out though.

Condition of interior bits? Airbags?

Perfect for the most part. The headliner (strangely enough) is a bit stained, and the seats are slightly stained as well, but there are no tears or cracks anywhere.

I bought this car last week, just picked it up from the shop this evening after having some work done to it. I managed to find this thread after doing some internet sleuthing, and matching up the type of car and OP's first name, specifically looking for forums. I already knew the history but it's cool to run across some original posts about this car.
It still has the busted rear quarter panel, which I intend to work on pounding out soon. The suspension bits have all been repaired. Strut tower is definitely bent slightly, and camber is off on that wheel with stock suspension. My friend (who I believe bought it from OP) had been testing out a rally suspension for Fortune Auto in this car and the coils allowed him to adjust the camber on that wheel pretty well, so I will probably do that or get some camber plates. The interior is immaculate other than the staining on the "who the hell thought it was a good idea to do white cloth" seats and door cards. Motor has been gone over and all seals and maintenance items replaced.
I had wanted a WRX for a long time and had never heard about these 92x's until I talked to him recently. I needed a daily, and it's not gorgeous but it has WRX guts and the right price, so I figured what the hell. It was pouring rain here in Richmond (VA) when I picked it up, and the drive home was only about 5 miles, but I really like it so far. Looking forward to getting it out on the road soon.

...
That is VERY strange. I definitely sold it to be crushed. I signed all that specific paperwork for it and everything.

Funky. I assume folks can do whatever they wish after purchase, or whatever went on? Not sure, to be honest. I have no vested interest in it one way or the other, aside from having a need for a daily, and being presented with an inexpensive "AS-IS" deal by a friend. It had four wheels and moved on its own, so I was interested in seeing what the Saabaru thing was all about before I decided to continue looking into a WRX or lower mileage 92x.
