It sounds like you don't have a statistically significant sample size.  Proximity would suggest there is additional information to be gleaned from second-hand reports that might increase the confidence of your report;  however, given the subjective nature of these assessments there may be limited value.  On the other hand, once is often enough if the experience falls to either end of the scale.
