Also, since when is a 10 year old JDM motor and drivetrain with 60k miles on it "Literally like a new STI under the body."

LOL thats not what I said. I said  its better than yours.
Your temper tantrum only confirms it.
I dont have a v9 sti motor. I have a version 8. Do you even know the differences in these motors? "Its like a new sti under the body" technically it is new to that vehicle.  banana

Re: 2005 Saab 9-2X Aero. Conplete STI swap. $14.5

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice car and looks well done, but for that price most would rather buy a real STI.  Even though it might be close to an STI, it's still not one, and because of that, it still has to be priced inline with 9-2x's with maybe a little price bump because of the mods.  Most I would pay might be $10-12k, but hey, I'm not a buyer right now, so my opinion doesn't even matter.

Well your offer did jump from "$6k-$6.5k" to "$10k-12k"

My thoughts exactly. I really like the idea of a full STI swap like has been done here but I don't think the value's there for an STI swapped saabaru.

Heck, if he can get $17k though, good for the rest of us I guess cuz it shows the value of saabarus isn't completely in the tank.

Re: 2005 Saab 9-2X Aero. Conplete STI swap. $14.5

My question is after all of that time/money/work why even bother selling this car?  You obviously knew exactly what you wanted it to be and built it accordingly.  You know that the market will not allow you to even get 15k for this car let alone 17k.  Realistically if someone gave you 13.5k you did REALLY well on the sale so why not just keep it?  You can't buy a car that fun and practical as a daily for what you would sell it for.  Either way it's a really nice car and clearly was done right.

Thanks man that means alot. My family loves it too. Yeah I really love this car and don't need to sell it. But the money would be nice for other things I have going on in my life.

Re: 2005 Saab 9-2X Aero. Conplete STI swap. $14.5

Your car is beautiful, hope you get close to your asking price. I'm in the process of installing a ver 7 drive train on a previously neglected Aero. East coast swappers asked me for $6,000 to do all my swap labor.  I'm doing as much myself as possible to save on labor expense.

I had a bad experience with ECS: over cost, over deadline, constant BS and lack of information.  I would avoid using them for an oil change.

I have a full V8 swap (full) into a Bugeye.  It's a truly wonderful car, I'm deeply in love with it.  Just throwing that out there.

yeah ive had 3 bugeye wagons and 3 saabarus. and the jdm sti v5.

so a ver8 bugeye wagon would be my dream, and a ver8 saabaru would be my other dream.  i like them both.  also i do like the 06-07 wrx wagons too... especially their brakes lol

Your intercooler is crooked, the bumper you cut looks hacked, and that muffler is fucking stupid. Cloth seats... Other than that, and the asking price, cool car. GLWS.  embeer

Last subaru meet I got several people asking me what exhaust that was and how they liked it. Cloth seats are nice to have not sticky hot in summer.

As crooked as  hmm  but if you look at it from this one angle, one might be able to say it looks straight in 2 out of 3 axes.
