LYTM garage mats, or best way to keep water away from walls in garage

I'm thinking of getting a garage mat to keep the Saabaru from dripping water all over my garage. Something like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015OZ7BMK

What do you do to keep the water under control in your garage? I was initially just thinking about putting in a raised rubber guard around the area where the car sits, but there are cracks in the garage floor that water would get into. The mat seems like the best option but somewhat pricey (at least that option on Amazon I linked to).

Fill in the cracks in your garage with self leveling concrete, comes in a tube like caulk. To keep water away from the walls in my garage I put a line of silicone down, not the prettiest but it works.

I bought that same mat last winter, it was my first winter in my new house and the garage floors aren't pitched well so water would pool and migrate towards the walls. Mat worked great, held a good deal of water and was easy to sweep out of the garage as needed.  Raised edges are a bit weird and could be a tripping hazard.

+1 on this, you can get it at most home stores in big tubes.  We filled a number of cracks in a patio last year with this, works well and isn't too pricey.  I'd do that plus maybe pause in the driveway to kick the snow out of the wheel wells, the rest should dry up relatively quickly.

Not a bad idea with the silicone. I haven't really had this problem much (cuz California drought) but we had a pretty heavy rain storm last weekend and I noticed when both our cars were in after being out in the heavy rain, some of the water was heading towards the walls. Silicone would be good to put as a line on the outside of things I don't want getting wet.

This is all awesome advice, thanks! I'm going to go the route of filling the cracks and putting down a barrier of silicone to keep the water contained embeer

+2 on the caulk, but also consider a dehumidifier if your garage is well sealed from the outside. I have a small one I turn on after I park wet or snowy cars. I get 1/2 gallon a day out of the air until the garage dries out.
