I'd recommend searching this question on i-club.com. That's a Subaru forum that a lot of Norcal subie owners frequent. That same question has been answered several times there and the responses should give you a starting point for locating a shop.

Could fully recommend http://www.garage1auto.com in Campbell, they're very knowledgeable about all things Subaru.
I've been taking mine there since the free services ran out all those years ago.

Garage1 will bend you over with no lube. Go see Mert in Hayward at RBMS autocare. He will take care of you and for a fair price. He is as trustworthy as they come and very reasonable. If they dont answer call back later or leave a message and they'll get back to you.

I go to DC auto on the Colma/DC boarder. Ive taken my 2 svx, outback, forester and Saab there. They are very cool.
