Huge improvement, the last episode was good fun. I hope the internet fanboys can get past bashing TG just because GT exists, it is possible for both shows to be entertaining.

Eh, fuck the fanboys.  More good enteraining car show content is all I'm after.

Aren't the episodes shown on BBC America shortened to fit American TV time slots?  At least I think that was how it was on the older episodes.

Pretty sure that's not the case any more, I think the episodes are just longer now so we get like an hour 30. Not 100% though, would need to check my DVR to confirm. ha.

They stopped doing that for TG and most of the other good shows (like Planet Earth), most are 90 minutes now. TG also used to be a year behind, now they are about a week.

Re: The Grand Tour - Thoughts?

Since we talked regular Top Gear in here figured I'd post in here for that as well.

What do you guys think of how Top Gear is doing the celebrity bits this season? I feel like they're holding them hostage! ha. With a couple of celebrities who have been more talkative w/ the regular conversation it's felt natural but most of the time they seem to just be along for the ride in conversation while the other guys chat about. ... Much like how I must look if someone walked up to me in a conversation with coworkers when it turns to sports.  lol

Been liking the episodes this season though.

Re: The Grand Tour - Thoughts?

I like what they have done with the celebrity segment.  Honestly the most disappointing part of that for me is just the shitty English weather.  It is no fun watching someone who isn't good at driving try to wrestle a BRZ around a gigantic kiddy pool.

But yeah, I still like TG 2.1 better than the GT.
