Re: Local Sightings?

It's like 9-2x central here in MA I'm feeling....

My boyfriend said he saw 2 near our house in Newtonville - an aero and a linear.

Today I saw 4  - 3 linears, 1 aero
- 2 black linears on watertown st/rte 16 going through Newtonville - morning than afternoon - woman driving first time and man driving second time
- 1 desert silver linear on route 2 west a bit after concord around 4pm
- a blue aero on beacon street going west around the reservoir around 5:45 - I think the passenger was noticing my car

Re: Local Sightings?

I DROVE NEXT TO A FREAKING 92X FOR PROBABLY 10 MILES AND THE DUDE WOULDNT LOOK OVER!

On 93N tonight in boston and the dude finally exited on to 95N.  Wouldnt look over.  I flashed my lights and honked my horn.  LAME LAME LAME LAME.

Im soo heated.

But on the bright side, the car looks AWESOME at night.

Weird. I definitely made that trip on 8/12, but I went through there about 2 in the afternoon and I don't recall any lights or horn. We were headed up to Portsmouth from the cottage on the lake south of Boston. I used to work in Boston so I'm used to all manner of  bizarre behavior in traffic.hmm I'm guessing by "night" you meant in the dark.

On a similar note, I did about 2K miles last week in the aero and didn't see a single 92x the entire trip. Haven't seen a single 92x but my own since I bought it six weeks ago and that's saying something considering I commute 80 miles per day. I did manage to get 27 MPG despite the temps crossing the 100F mark at one point.

Re: Local Sightings?

Why do I get so excited when I spot another 92x?   It's like winning the lottery!

Saw a red Aero on Kinderkamack tonight in Oradell.  That makes three I've seen since I've got mine, every one a different color.  How many colors are there?

I've seen silver and red Linears (on NJ turnpike), the red one had the back side windows tinted, but not the rear one. The silver was completely stock. Also saw a blue aero around Palisades mall a few times.
I know STI292x has a black one (and he's got pics of our 2 cars together)

Who was driving it?
I'm in the area (New City/Nanuet), but definitely do not remember any ambulance following me or honking....unless I was sleeping. Come to think of it, I wasn't in Spring Valley either in the past few days.

That's it, Tri-State needs to organize a meet to put all other "sightings/meets" around the country to shame. We should be able to get a lot of 9-2's without any problems.
Let's pick a spot and start spamming for people to come out!yikes

Re: Local Sightings?

^^^ Are you going to have your car there? I'd be interested in checking out the "custom emergency light system". I can stop by pretty much any day after 6pm...What times are you there?

Re: Local Sightings?

I saw a black 92x Aero with NJ plates sitting in a parking lot in Wykoff on Wykoff Ave. around 5pm on 8/17. It had a Ramsey Saab frame on the rear end. Had the 16" rims, so I assume no sport package.

I sat at the light by you in my silver Aero.
Nice car, but a bit dusty big_smile

Re: Local Sightings?

While I was picking up my oil filter today at Charles River Saab in Watertown, MA I noticed that someone at the dealership owns a 9-2x Aero in Artic Silver.   When I pulled out of the dealership I saw a woman in a Desert Silver Linear go by me towards Boston.

Saw Artic Silver 92x in Stop N Shop parking lot in Watertown, MA today while I was driving to find parking. Honestly, I was trying to wave at the guy driving it and never even noticed if it was an Aero or Linear but at any rate he looked and smiled and I think he was wondering why in god's name I was waving!

That's because he thought to himself: "Man, this car is so pimp, chicks are swarming me now and even waving in Stop N Shop parking lots.....I'm the man!"

haha.lol
