Re: wrx front end?

I see wider wheel arches, but if you are posting a pic of a WRX front end, why would you post a picture of the back of the car....  confused

Edit:  He posted the rest.  Disregard the above.

He's about to post the front, I'm guessing he is just posting that to show it is a 9-2x.

Re: wrx front end?

A big meh from me. Not only do 16x6.5 wheels look bad in the WRX fender flares, the whole thing just looks tacky (good definition of RICE). WRX hoodscoop on a Linear as well.  facepalm

And the MY06-07 front end is the worst looking of the bunch IMO.

Saab 9-2X > Bugeye (02-03) > Peanut eye (04-05) > Pig nose (06-07)

Why didn't you just fix with 9-2X parts? shifty

Disagree

Saab 9-2X > Bugeye (02-03) > Peanut eye (04-05) > Pig nose (06-07)

IMHO, Pig nose/Hawkeye > Bugeye > Peanut Eye/blobeye?

Re: wrx front end?

well, it would have cost $6000 to put back all of the 92x parts. I found a wrx front end for $2000 and $1800 to put it on. so i did it and now my lil sis drives it and i got a 2005 Areo

Just to clear up some confusion, if it wasn't already known. This guy put a 9-2X rear on a Bugeye. Not a Bugeye front end on a 9-2X. Either way, it looks ama-za-zing in my opinion.  up

Re: wrx front end?

i think if he went with wagon fenders instead of sedan fenders it would have looked better with the stock wheels. they just look funny without a large pull in the rear fenders. i like the hawkeye front end though.

This.

Or alternately, get sedan front suspension with the wider track.

Re: wrx front end?

I've  always liked the 06-07 WRX front end, and I've liked the sedan fenders.

I also enjoy the look of the Saabaru rear end.

Put them together  arrow-up and that is nothing that I would want my car to look like.

Would need bigger wheels/wider stance...

or I just need projectors in my headlights to achieve the look that I really want!

I really dig this.  I didn't expect a 92x sedan to look good actually.
