Welcome to Saab92x.com!
Hi everyone, |
Well I thought I would copy that thread on Nasioc.
Just post up any pics you have that are good or crappy.
I just got a new camera and I'm sure others did as well for Christmas so now we can share.
30 second exposure off my porch of the lake and the light up Christmas tree in my yard: (this was late at night obviously and I was just messing around with the sensitivity, had it cranked.)
I'll have more once it gets warmer out and I learn how to use this sucker!

So do you live on one of the "Twin Lakes"? Looks like it to me.
Hmm, summer bash anyone??

Hmmm, yeah I live on the lake, trust me there's not much doing here.

My 21 year old Yellow-Naped Amazon.
Dusty, our female cockatiel, sitting on my GF's shoulder. She's 2 1/2 years old now.
This is Dusty, when she was a few months old, trying to steal my GF's dessert.

I took a ton of great pics in Aruba last May... most came out really well with my new (at the time) Canon digital.
Here is one of them that I really like.

Dusty is 2 1/2 years old now. I can't believe I walked into that one.

The top one is Yellowstone Falls (in Yellowstone

The bottom one is a shot of the Grand Tetons from the area next to the Cunningham cabin.

Jase-
Great shots, what kind of camera?

Thanks for the compliments, guys! I'm just a snapshot photographer.
The camera is a Canon Powershot Pro1. Great camera, and far more
capable than what I can really effectively use at my skill level.

The second one has great composition, but I guess it helps that the scenery was so beautiful as well!

Bah, cost doesn't equate to good photos.
Then again, it doesn't hurt...I am in desperate need of some decent lenses.

This is true. Some famous person (don't remember who), just recently put out a table top book of photographs he/she took with disposable cameras over the years. I wish I could remember more, but the story was on CNN a few months ago.

Eurospeed, love the MkII, is it a 16v? I think I will always have a love for GTI's, and VW's in general. When I get near a VW, my girlfriend always says "You sped up so you could check it out" yes that is true. VW's is what I learned to drive.

Not mine, but my buddies old car, and his German Sheppard, Maggie.

Just a handful of my favorite shots that I've taken:
