Hey Firegator,
If you put the image links inside the image tags we can see them all.
Welcome.

Hey bOOduh, ya, when I bought it new it already had the single black pinstripe and black SAAB/griffin logo in the fenders. Over time I did do a lot of other cosmetic things to the exterior here and there...custom painted WRX mirrors to match, titanium painted air dam mesh/fog surrounds, roof rails, and my fav....re-badged 17" VW wheels.....just to name a few.
And thanks tekkheadd, duly noted...I kinda fig that out after I posted them.

What does the sticker say on the fender?
Offline
Thanks tekkheadd, the sticker on the fenders are an outline of a griffen, with 'SAAB' written underneath it. When I bought mine, there was a black Aero on the lot next to it that had the same striping package as on mine, but in silver. Guess maybe the dealer did it? Thought it looked pretty good tho...

Awesome pics! Looks like a 9-2x brochure.
How'd you light that second pic? Spotlight?
Offline
Thanks. The second pic was a quick and dirty test using two shots with an off-camera flash and umbrella. If you want to try it I'd recommend either using a softbox or just getting some white sheets and draping them over the windows and firing a flash or light through it. The umbrella was quite awkward when it got close to the interior but I didn't have any sheets.

Rota GRA/Group A/Tarmac 2 are the replica, but they are discontinued also. Only gold is still available.

These are Prodrive P1, saw them in person at a meet up in NY, still waiting for him to sell them to me.

I would love to get a good photographer to take some pictures of my car, I have always wanted to get that done and don't have the right camera or sufficient knowledge to do it on my own... Maybe one of these days I will find someone local and pay them. Here are some crappy point and shoot camera / Droid X pictures of my car.
My car is an 05 Satin Gray Aero, but in some pictures it can probably be mistaken for arctic/desert silver because of lighting/exposure. 166k and still going like a champ
The other car is my buddy's 05' Goat, that thing is a monster.

Wow, your interior looks amazing. How do you keep your seats so clean?

Yeah, I was just letting him know that the replica was available and slightly easier to find. I would have loved to find a set of P1's also, but I had to settle for the rota's.

I've seen this car and it actually is that clean. All the time.

Thanks man, I do my best. I am certainly OCD with my cars, like to keep them in good condition
I use the Meguiars Gold Class line of leather cleaner's conditioners, a medium bristled brush, and lots of elbow grease/patience. They usually stay looking very clean for at least a 3 month stretch before I feel compelled to clean them again. However; one of the gold glass products that I last used (prior to those pictures) is WAY too aggressive, I won't use it again, and don't recommend it. The regular one that I had worked well, but required a lots of scrubbing with a brush. The one that I will no longer use (will post up the exact one later) did the same job but with no scrubbing. A drop got left behind on my driver seat for about 45 seconds and actually ate a little section of the white leather away
It is VERY small, and is now just slightly off white. You can barely notice it, but its enough to make me not bother with it anymore. The seats were pretty nasty when I got the car (but the rest was immaculate)
Before
And After
I think the important part is cleaning them regularly before they get too bad. The first cleaning took a LONG time, I used a toothbrush...

Thanks anaya661! I was def goin for subtle, I just wanted to make the car look a little more like the Saab that it is...even tho we all know it's not! Lol Steering wheel and shift knob are from a Legacy...they were brand new when I put them in!
Did a lot of other subtle things here and there too, day/date/time clock mod, inline aux in to OEM HU, leather shift/e-brake/armrest covers (black/beige stitch) plus armrest extension, and rear cup holder. Also painted AC controls bright silver to match HU knobs, and full Dynamat to interior roof when I had headliner out to clean, just to name a few.

after looking through this thread, the 9-2x is definitely still a looker. the proportions and especially the saab front end just compliment each other very well.
