Painting the grille

So i am thinking of painting the Grille "blue mica" to match the car. The Grille has the only bit of Chrome and I hate it. Ive seen a lot of guys Plastidip it. Seeing as I have some minor painting being done, I might as well paint those to match the car.

Good call. The white clearly doesn't look janky at all.

That would be hideous. Someone on here did a graphite/charcoal grey color and it looked great (can't remember who it was!). That's the only color I'd consider, even over blacking them out.

IMHO it will not look good. For your car a dark matte silver will look good. Not as dark as graphite but more in between metallic silver and graphite. I call it Old World Metallic Silver from Matthews paints.

Re: Painting the grille

Nelly sells really good 3D overlays, I wouldn't call them a sticker. The grille is held on by clips on the back side of the fascia, and I think the chrome can come off by screws once you have the sections popped out.
