So here's my problem. My front sway bar (22mm whiteline) has rubbed up against a power steering line and has caused it to leak power steering fluid badly. I have had it on for the past 2 years and I have never noticed any notches or scratches on the power steering lines before which is odd. I couldn't find an identical thread with someone who has had this issue, but I'm thinking that it could be due to the road conditions I drive on daily (gravel roads) and a combination of the stock endlinks being a little too soft. Any thoughts?
I have access to an '04 sti fsb & an '06 wrx fsb (both of sedans), but I'm not sure if they will fit. It was my understanding that sedan fsb's won't fit wagons.

they wont fit unless you change to sedan LCA and endlinks.

Woah, I have the same sway bar. I'll take a look tomorrow and see if I can see anything that would cause that. Do you have a pic of the damage area?

car is @ subaru getting looked at, but my friend called me up who's a tech there and told that was the issue. i'm thinking it could be that my car also has been lowered, but i have run lower than where it is right now and never had any issues. im just stumped on this one. lol.

I would check the body mounts and bushings. They locate the bar in relation to body hardware. The endlinks mean nothing in relation to your problem Boodah.

Thanks, Scargo. I will get him to check those out.

Good reason to go to aluminum sti sways and new (sedan) links -- if -- you were looking for one.

Do you mean aluminum LCA's?
Not a bad idea here though b00duh. Upgrade your car's front track width with STi LCA's and sway bar. Moar road grip and no more worries about that pesky recall.
