My '03 WW EVO 8

So even though I love my saabaru just as much as the next guy it was time to get a "fun car". I picked this EVO up last winter from a guy in michigan who actually ended up getting an arctic silver 92x aero (I should probably of traded bc EVO's usually pull in a good buck!) The car is a RIOT and puts a smile on my face everyday! I still cant get used to how hard it pulls being on the stock turbo, and spins all four 245 series tires! Someone was interested in the car from my signature so heres a mods list and a couple pics, ENJOY

Re: My '03 WW EVO 8

You have a WRX, and you get an Evo VIII for a fun car? I would've gone for something completely different, not the closest competitor in my class. That being said, I love it. I'm a huge Evo fan and hunted for one when I had my MINI but couldn't find one for the right price in the right condition. Love the white too. However, I think a different set of shoes could make it look a lot nicer. I would also dumb down the tint a little bit and try to throw a lip on the boot.

I hope you enjoy it, and be safe  up

Re: My '03 WW EVO 8

Nice!  Wingless ftw.  Thanks for sharing, dude.  I love me some Evos.  I'd love an 8 or 9 as my next car.

Lately I've been watching a British show (similar to C.O.P.S.), but focuses on their interceptor team.  They mostly drive Evos, STis, and Prodrive Imprezas.

Re: My '03 WW EVO 8

I rode in a friend's similar setup.  He was claiming the setup is known for 10 second passes.  It was absurdly fast for what looked like a bone stock street car.  I forgot the name of his turbo setup, FP Green or FR Red, something like that.

Those are both very capable turbos though..

Re: My '03 WW EVO 8

I just moved to ORL from Cleveland 9 months ago.  I had to sell a stock cherry Galant VR4 to get down here.  Chose to keep my 00 RS over the Galant just because the RS is more reliable.  I regret it though.  So hard to find a clean GVR4.  Anyways....nice EVO.  I've always wanted one.

IMHO - they don't drive very much alike. The fancy diffs on the Evo are kind of a big deal. I could do things in a stock Evo that I could never do with my WRX after 8 years of tweaking the suspension... it really is amazing out of the box.
