Yeah, the headlights came out great. I thought black would be too much of a contrast with the light color of the car so i went with a sort of steel grey color paint.

It already has Konis with stock springs. RCE is making another batch of wagon springs in 6 weeks. Im getting those unless I can find a set of yellows and rear spacers used before then. I actually have some wagon pinks that Im trying to sell right now, bc they dont lower as much as I want.

05wrx wheels are going on tonight(the advans are for sale). Also picking up a set of 18" Rota P1s that need to be refinished as a little project. Exhuast and tune just went on this past weekend. Car is coming together nicely so far.

RCE wagon specific springs don't drop it much at all. IMO it's a perfect drop but it's all function over form. They handle great, little nose dive and handle great.

Check out my thread "the perfect wagon suspension upgrade" if your curious to see photos.

Re: THE OFFICIAL SILVER(Arctic/Desert Silver and Gray) Thread

Thanks embeer

I'm having it tuned by a guy named Steve. He is a technician at Subaru and worked on the Oregon Trail Rally Team. He's tuned one of my older Saabarus in the past and I was very happy with his work. Haven't heard of Tim does he work at a shop around Portland?

If you've been pleased with his work, then who would blame you for going back? Yeah Tim is the big dog at Cobb Surgeline in Portland. Check him out. Any videos of your 92?

Re: THE OFFICIAL SILVER(Arctic/Desert Silver and Gray) Thread

Looking good-- You are really doing all that with a stock turbo inlet?

I like your cleared corners on the silver. I agree with HammyT, it's time for a new, fast wheelset.

Seeing that you have a FMIC, perhaps a linear hood on for a real sleeper look; additionally there's a certain member looking to purchase an aero hood.

What kinda wheels were you looking at?

Loving the clear'd headlights and blackout grills on the silver car. Between those 2 things and a FMIC, it's a lot of what I was considering for my car in the coming year. That looks secondary to a 6 speed and larger injectors for E85. That is, if I can fix the wastegate on my vf30. If that's lost, 20g.

Pics of my car, in here, soon.

You could always trade me hoods? It's already arctic silver and I'm hoping to do a swap by next summer or so, so having a Aero hood would be awesome. Just a thought though.  big_smile
