I'll take some when I take the brakes off and put the winter wheels back on, but really, it look just like it did at the beginning of this thread, plus about 6" of fender gap.

Brakes off tomorrow, along with an alignment and the STI BBS's and then I'll post some pics as it sits.
Coilovers and Enkei's are still up for grabs at a significant discount. Headunit and Brakes are sold.

I may or may not be interested in this. I just hit a deer on the highway last night and, while I doubt it's totaled, this is very appealing to me if it is.
When's your cutoff as to when it needs to sell?

Shit, I'm sorry Chris! Honestly, I need it gone by like next Wednesday, the latest. I have two seriously interested parties right now, one in Pittsburgh and the other in MI. Both are still working out financing/travel, so the car is still up for grabs. Feel free to give me a call if you want to talk about it, or just shoot me an email to alex.m.bernstein@gmail.com and I'll help you out the best I can. Glad you're ok, and it's just a car! 516-779-3837

That sucks Chris. Sorry man.
Berns, Pittsburgh eh? I wonder if he is part of the Subie community here. If so I might know him.

Not sure, but I know he's been lurking. Hopefully something will come together this week.

Should hear back from the Geico rep today.

Pretty sure the car is being picked up on Monday, but in any event, here are some pics, my camera is packed away, iPhone will have to do.
Shipped out the M3 to LA today, here she is:
Then decided I'd give some love to the Saab for the new owner. Fresh wash, cleaned off any dirt or grime anywhere (gas cap, trim, door sills, engine bay). Also scrubbed the seats down and removed any sign of dirt on them. Interior is mint.

Well, with exactly 6 days before I move to SoCal, the Saab has finally sold. The owner flew in from Pittsburgh and loved the car. Sad to see it go but I think the new owner will love it. And for curiosities sake, it went for $12,500.. If I wasn't in such a rush I would have held out for 13-13,500, but it is what it is and it's a fair deal regardless.
Thanks everyone for the input, help and advice over the last year. I'll still be lurking around. I also have the GrimmSpeed front plate mount and Yakima roof rack if anyone is interested for a quick, cheap sale. email me at alex.m.bernstein@gmail.com
And here she goes:

Damn. What a steal. Out of respect to the new owner, though, you should probably remove the price unless he opts to share what he paid.
Glad you sold it.
Sorry it wasn't sold to me.

Totally a steal. I think $13,500 was the right price but oh well! Thanks guys. As for the price, I don't think it's too big a deal, considering I gave him $1000 off my asking price. Everyone's happy, and he's not much of a forum guy.
Thanks everyone! Can't wait to rip the M3 through the Mailbu canyons.

I hope the new owner brings it back to the forum. I'll be a

What a bastard. Nobody help him when he posts here in 3 years after he can't figure out how to turn off the parking lights, or why the A/C vents won't stop blowing air, even when it's turned off.

I'll put $10 down that his first post is "HELP MY REAR HATCH WON'T OPEN!"
Pittsburgh sucks.
Offline
I told him about the stupid rear hatch, which just started happening. Said, keep a flathead handy and no matter how much lithium grease you toss in there, it won't solve it. he really liked the flat-shift feature though! haha
Offline
I'll keep my eyes open for it.

Congrats Berns, and love the new M3... After doing some more research I too am falling in love with the 46. Headers, a mild shark tune and 4.10s... hot.
Got a link to your future build on that?
