Look, the reality is that GM stopped producing these cars 6+ years ago, after only 2 model years.  Since then, GM sold/lost its stake in Subaru, Saab went bankrupt and changed hands a couple of times.  You could pretty much write off any body work as harder to find replacement parts to begin with, even in 2006; add the factor of longevity and crashes, and it's pretty easy to say that you're searching for a very specific needle in a needle stack.

Appearance mods aren't generally well-received here.  Most of the earlier buyers of these cars knew they were getting a sleeper, and that has, with a few notable exceptions, been a trend.  Even a few aero guys swapped linear hoods to run a FMIC - so going for a certain look without the substance behind it can get the rabble roused.

Same flak is dished out to the "hai guise i wanna ad turboz my linear and i don't think A NYONE HAS EVER DONE THIS BEFORE!!!1111!!!!" posts that pop up here once in a while, too.

It's the internet.  hang out a while, do some searching through the mods section, expect that someone's going to talk shit, and dish some back.  Sensitivity is a sign of weakness around here, and the predators love to thin the herd.  Especially when it's been slow.
