Meat?

Looks like we've got some new locals, anyone up for a meet?  Happy to host up here, 3 beers on tap right now (Pumpkin, Pale, and Double Chocolate Oatmeal Coffee Stout) and garage space/tools if anyone has some maintenance/mods to do.  I might dive into a handful of needed maintenance on the V Strom, poke around with the stereo install on the Motovan, or start disassembling the Ural for the winter project.

I'm in Denver for GABF next weekend but after that I'm free until Thanksgiving.

Re: Meat?

I'd definitely be down for a meetup. I'm about an hour south, so not too bad.Schedule-wise, I'm relatively flexible usually, although sometimes I can get screwed by a pile of homework/projects.

If I don't end up installing my boost gauge next weekend, I might tackle that up there. I've never done it before so it would probably be helpful to have some knowledgeable guys around.

Re: Meat?

I would be up for one, but the wife is taking the Saab to IL to go visit her sister. And I dunno about taking the Expi' up to FoCo. Although, reading your beer thread makes me not give a care about gas mileage. As long as you don't care about me showing up in a Ford, instead of my boring non-terrrbow Saab.

Re: Meat?

FWIW, not a lot of us have a 92x anymore.  I sold mine in 2009 and only a couple of guys that might show up still have one, so don't worry about that.

Re: Meat?

I've got a few free weekends between now and then, will be back in Michigan the weekend after next, and am probably having some highly anticipated surgery in early Nov. to get the screws replaced in my femur with shorter ones.  THey did a great job of holding it together while it healed, but are now sticking into the muscle and holding back the recovery.   Should only kill one weekend.

And I would definitely have a 9-2x to ogle!

And I'll of course bring the Red Rocket.

Re: Meat?

Weekends are tricky, unless we do a morning meat. I work 3P-11P Saturday Sunday. So I'd have to leave by 1:30 to be on the safe side, my work is out at DIA could be a pretty sweet cruise up 470. I'd love to make it and meet people and shoot le shiz.
